Canadian Adventure Details
Day 1 – Calgary / Banff
Arrive Calgary and transfer to Banff for the evening.
Day 2 – Banff
Today is free to explore Banff on your own. Maybe you will ride the Gondola or visit the original Banff Hot Springs.
Day 3 – Ice Field Parkway Tour
This full day sightseeing tour travels through a landscape carved by glaciers and opened by pioneers. The tour begins with a stop at world famous Lake Louise. It then continues along the Icefields Parkway which is rated as one of the most scenic highways in the world. Marvel at glaciers remaining from the last ice age while you hear stories of early explorers who opened the valleys. Enjoy an alpine picnic before visiting the Athabasca Glacier and Columbia Ice Fields Centre. Join an Explorer and travel onto the glacier or explore the interpretive centre and surroundings. A picnic lunch is included. (L)
Day 4 – Banff / Kamloops
Board the train and begin a two day journey to the coast tracing the steps of the first rail line in Canada. Today the highlights will be traveling the Spiral Tunnels, visiting Craigellachie where the golden spike was driven linking Canada from coast to coast. Your car attendant will keep you informed along the way of all the sights. Breakfast and lunch will be served at your seat.
Day 5 – Kamloops / Vancouver
Continue on the Rocky Mountaineer through the Fraser Canyon and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Arrive in Vancouver in time for dinner. (B, L)
Day 6 – Vancouver
Enjoy a full day tour (4-hour) of Vancouver. This tour features the North Shore, Stanley Park, Vanier Park. The rest of the day is free.
Day 7 – Vancouver
Enjoy the full day in Vancouver. Late this afternoon Depart Vancouver today. Your tour ends with checkout today. If you are sailing from Seattle ask us about transfer options to get to your cruise ship.
Princess Cruise Adventure
Day 1 – Today check in with your ship and depart Vancouver on the Princess Island Princess.
Day 2 – Cruise thru the beautiful Inside Passage.
Day 3 – Ship calls in Ketchikan. This most southeastern Alaska town is known for its Totem Poles and nearby Misty Fiords National Monument
Day 4 – Ship calls in Juneau – Check out the great local shops or ride the tram to the top of Mt. Roberts
Day 5 – Ship calls in Skagway. This Gold Rush Era town is part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park.
Day 6 – Cruise Glacier Bay National Park.Covering 3.3 million acres of rugged mountains, dynamic glaciers, temperate rainforest, wild coastlines and deep sheltered fjords, Glacier Bay National Park is a highlight of Alaska’s Inside Passage Day 7 – Cruise College Fjord, home to 16 glaciers.
Day 8 – You arrive and disembark in Whittier, Alaska
( if you do not continue to the Alaska interior, an additional fee will apply for transfer from Whittier to Anchorage.
Denali / Alaska Interior Adventure
Day 1 – Motor coach Whittier to Talkeetna. Overnight in the main lodge. Jet Boat Wilderness Tour.
Day 2 – Luxury dome rail Talkeetna to Denali Park. Overnight two
nights in standard room.
Day 3 – Best of Denali. Denali Back Country Tour. Full day tour of Denali National Park. (Includes Lunch at Kantishna).Tour flight returns thru Kantishna Air Taxi. With 6 million acres of Alaska’s interior wilderness and the 20,310-ft.-high Denali (fka Mount McKinley), North America’s tallest peak.
Day 4 – Luxury Dome rail Denali Park to Anchorage. Overnight for one night at The Lakefront Anchorage (Breakfast and transfers included).
Day 5 – Return
