Canada Vacation
Here I am in front of the Banff Springs Fairmont Hotel. The Hotel sits outside the town of Banff, and is surrounded by forest.
Banff National Park was beautiful.
We traveled from Calgary to Vancouver by train on the Rocky Mountaineer We were on the train for 2 days, but spent the night at a hotel in Kamloops. I highly recommend this trip, the service on the train was awesome.
The
scenery on the train was amazing. Mountains, streams, climate changes and plenty
of wild life.
This photo is of two railroad tracks crossing each other. The two tracks are owned by different companies. If you look closely, you will see a train on the other track which we passed over. It was a great sight to see.
When in Vancouver a stop by the Capilano Suspension Bridge is well worth the trip. There's much more to the park than just the bridge. A totem pole display, gardens, and a walkway through the tree tops.
